Police Officer for a Day Experience:
This lucky 6 to 12 year old child will accompany a Southlake Police Officer and take on some of his routine duties as Police Officer for a Day. During this exciting and unique hands-on day, the child will: be issued a full "police uniform" which is theirs to keep, learn how the police officers check their patrol car and equipment daily to ensure operational readiness, ride in the police car while touring the jurisdiction, learn how to operate the radar, learn defensive tactics used by police officers, go out to lunch with the officers, go to the range to see the firearms qualifications, and take a special tour of his/her neighborhood in the police car (if the child lives in City of Southlake).

Fire Chief for a Day Experience:
Enjoy a "Firefighter for a Day Experience" and be an honorary member of the Southlake Fire Services. Fulfill a childhood fantasy of riding on a screaming fire truck, bound for the glory of rescuing lives property.
